At the age of 8 I started taking guitarlessons. At the age of 14 I transferred to luite. I studied luite with Toyohiko Satoh at the Royal Concervatory of Den Haag.

The luites I play are built by Richard Berg (Ottawa, Canada) en and Stephen Barber (London, UK).With Ian Schneller of Secimen Products (Chicago) I deleopped the first electric luite. This unicum blends tradistional electrical sound with the very specific sound of the luite.

I constantly break boarders by playing the luite in every stye. From the music of the Middle-ages to the  John passion, all the way tho ethnical music.

Playing cross-over productions is a part of my job.
